Sahachiro Hata was born on March 23rd 1873, Japan. He was a bacteriologist who moved to Frankfurt, Gremany to assist Paul Ehrlich and his team in their work to discover a cure for syphilis. Hata is famous for discovering the 606th compund that was effective in treating sypilis, He died on the 22nd November, 1938.
